Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland lays claim to the world’s best beaches and the oldest surviving rainforest, The Daintree. This budget-friendly day tour from Cairns covers two world heritage sites in one spectacular day. Enjoy a day in paradise with ample free time to explore Mossman Gorge, take a walk on the beach and enjoy a meal at Daintree Village Hotel.
Transfers are available from Cairns or Port Douglas so sit back and enjoy the scenery on the coastal drive with stops at Thornton's Beach , the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation Region..

- Due to Cyclone Jasper, access to the road leading to Cape Tribulation has been restricted. Our tour includes all activities except for the final 10 kilometres of the journey to Cape Tribulation Village
- Return transfers from Cairns & Port Douglas hotels
- Scenic Coastal Drive from Cairns to Port Douglas
- Visit Mossman Gorge and participate in a Welcome to Country with traditional owners, the indigenous Kuku Yalanji people
- Lunch in Daintree
- Guided Rainforest Walk followed by a visit to the beach "where the rainforest meets the reef".
- Visit the Daintree Ice Cream Co and enjoy a delicious tropical flavoured treat (own expense)
- Daintree River (ferry crossing)
- Short visit to world famous Port Douglas (Time permitting)
- Breakfast (own cost)
- Wildlife River Cruise (Not included, can be upgraded on the day for an extra cost)
- Tours depart Cairns at approximately 7.30am and Port Douglas at approximately 9am and return at approximately 7pm (Cairns) and 6pm (Port Douglas)

- Cash or a card: Lunch is included in the Tour, however, there are extra at your own expense food stops along the way such as Breakfast and ice cream
- Child age 2-11 years old - Children under 2 years old may travel free of charge and must sit on parents lap during the bus transfer. No meal is supplied.
- 50% cancellation fee applies within 48 hours of departure and 100% cancellation fee within 24 hours of departure

Perfect day trip for seeing Daintree Rainforest. Lunch was delicious!
I recently took a day tour of the Daintree Rainforest, and it was an unforgettable experience! The lush greenery and incredible biodiversity made me feel like I was in another world. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the flora and fauna. The highlights included a scenic river cruise where we spotted crocodiles and vibrant bird species. The walk through the rainforest was mesmerizing, with towering trees and stunning plants all around. I also loved the opportunity to learn about the Indigenous culture and their connection to the land. The day was well-organized, with plenty of time for exploration and relaxation. If you’re looking for an adventure that immerses you in nature’s beauty, I highly recommend this tour. It’s a must-do for anyone visiting the area!

Enjoyable tour and friendly tour guide. Looking for some cassowary in the wild is a bit exciting.
The tour was very educational and Jim (tour guide/driver) is very friendly. My son and I enjoyed this tour. We didn’t see much crocodile but the boat cruise is alright, I really enjoyed the Mossman gorge and we saw some cassowaries in the wild on the way back.
